Wage QREs can be connected directly or uploaded via CSV as well through a template. Here is a quick tutorial:

1. Select relevant period
2. Navigate to “Wage QREs” page
3. Click “Connect Payroll”
4. Select one of the listed payroll providers
   • If your payroll provider is not listed, you can upload your data via CSV (steps are below)

FAQs

1. Question: What are the required columns for the CSV template?

   Answer: Name, Job Title, W-2 Box 1 Wages, Contractor Wages, State, Country. The others are not required but highly recommended. For example, Employee/Manager ID is not mandatory but important for mapping employee hierarchy to show supervision of R&D from managers

2. Question: How secure is the payroll data? Can we anonymize it?

3. Answer: Payroll data is always stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest following the highest standards described in our security. Ability to view payroll data is controlled by role-based access, so you can control limit who can view it.

   Customers can also choose for complete payroll anonymization, so that even admins cannot view names and salaries together. On upload, the system generates a unique identifier for each person and shows that in place of name, then masks details that identify individual employees.
